SolTech has been the outsourced IT provider for Northside Women's Specialists for over 8 years. SolTech's superior relationship with NWS has resulted from conversion to a paperless system, implementation of a 125+ seat EHR, and implementation of a PACS system for ultrasound image storage and reporting. SolTech has been instrumental in taking NWS from zero technology to a competitive technology enriched practice and now enjoys the fruits of a long term relationship with a very satisfied client.
Initially, SolTech worked with NWS to define a 3 year technology roadmap in line with the growth aspirations of the company. With the technology roadmap in place, NWS utilized SolTech’s consultants as a non-biased third party to aid in the selection of an EHR software vendor most in line with the needs of NWS’s four practices. Following vendor selection, SolTech continued to work closely with NWS to determine the configuration of a network infrastructure that would efficiently handle all applications. NWS was able to rely on SolTech to effectively implement their entire network infrastructure and continues to utilize SolTech for on site and remote technical infrastructure support.
The implementation of the PACS system, the EHR system and network infrastructure has allowed NWS and SolTech to grow together. NWS recently opened their fifth office in the metro Atlanta area. In addition, NWS was purchased by Pediatrix, an approximately $1B medical practice giant. Pediatrix has since realized the capabilities available through SolTech and are in the process of nationally deploying a scaled version of NWS’s model.
