As an experienced manager in technology services, Thayer has spent over 12 years in the IT industry. Thayer has been a member of the SolTech team since 2005 where he has played an instrumental role in the successful delivery of numerous custom software solutions.  Thayer has a passion for helping clients take advantage of new business opportunities and solving business problems through the application of technology.

Thayer not only possesses excellent depth in project management, but also has a long history of assisting executive management in defining system requirements and translating business needs into tangible software designs and implementation plans.  Thayer comes from a solid development background with hands on experience in both the Microsoft and Open Source/Java environments.  The combination of his experience in project management, requirements definition and software development uniquely positions him to help SolTech’s clients from conception through implementation.

Prior to joining SolTech, Thayer spent 5 years as a consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers to their large top-tier clients. As a consultant, Thayer managed the implementation of a number of large scale eCommerce and eBusiness projects. Thayer has also had the opportunity to work in the real estate and mortgage industries.  

Thayer grew up in the Atlanta area and has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. Thayer lives in metro Atlanta with his wife Lori and son Geran.
