Job Title: MySQL DBA
Location: Alpharetta
State: Atlanta, GA Metro Area

Position Description:

A Database Administrator is needed to work on a two-part reporting project involving a MySQL database. You will be working in a non-Microsoft shop, as all servers are on Linux. You will work as part of a young, entrepreneurial team focused on product development in the supply chain industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate a current database schema and provide recommendations
  • Design an OLAP reporting schema with data cubes extracted from an OLTP database to the new reporting schema
Required Qualifications:
  • MySQL DBA experience, preferably with MySQL Professional
  • Query optimization experience
  • Experience with Pentaho, or some other similar reporting tool
  • Linux and Mac OS experience
