The Backend Java Developer will be responsible for the design and development of a new financial system in J2EE. The Developer must also have experience utilizing C#.Net in order to transfer an existing legacy system written in C#.Net to the newer J2EE version. Responsibilities:
|
- Backend web development utilizing Java and C#.Net Design and development of new financial system
- Transfer existing legacy system written in C#.Net to the new J2EE version
- Analyze, design, develop, test, document, and debug software
- Follow the development process and steps as outlined and ensure code reuse and efficiency
- Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
- Performance analysis and improvements of large, complex systems

Required Qualifications:
|
- Experience with the following technologies: Java, J2EE, XML, MS SQL, JBoss, Web technologies, Maven, C#.Net
- Minimum 5+ years experience in applications programming and sound software development processes
- Bachelor’s degree in CIS or MIS, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in standard programming concepts, procedures and practices
- Experience testing, tuning, and deploying web applications that support large numbers of concurrent users
- Experience analyzing and improving large complex systems
- Participation in the full life cycle of projects, including effective use of version control, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking software
- Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutions
