Position Description:

The Java/JEE Developer will work as part of a mid-sized team to re-engineer and develop a management information system for an educational non-profit organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Re-engineer and develop a management information system
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience developing web applications in an Agile development environment.
  • Overall high aptitude with a wide range of JEE technologies.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with basic front-end development principles, such as cross browser compatibility, general web standards, html, Ajax, CSS, XML, XSL, etc.
  • Extensive experience with Java/J2EE
  • Frameworks - Spring, Struts, SOAP, JAX-WS, JAXB
  • Application Servers - Jboss, Tomcat, Apache
  • Database - MS SQL Server, MySQL, JDBC, Hibernate
  • Development Tools - Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, Ant, Subversion,
  • Test Tools - Junit, Jmeter, Automated Test Tools
