Responsibilities:
|
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage projects, coordinate resource needs, develop new processes and implement business and technology solutions to ensure success of both strategic and tactical initiatives
- In a management capacity, assist in the definition of project initiatives, including participating in technical feasibility, build –or–buy, level of effort, and other assessments relative to defining scope and complexity of proposed projects
- Manage the implementation of a new Project Costing and Management Tool
- Manage the ongoing updates, reporting, and configuration of the tool, including ensuring adherence to time reporting and process
- Identify opportunities/problems during project execution in order to manage them to effective solutions/resolutions
- Reviews status reports of team members and deals with issues accordingly
- With an understanding of the short-term and long-term strategic direction, ensure adherence to corporate goals and objectives, by managing resources and new project work against the Enterprise Project Roadmap, using superior project planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, and organizational skills
- Working with team members and IT, develop test plans and strategies to ensure system and process integrity, and coordinate business execution of test cases and when appropriate to approve test results
- Manage the execution of project plans, monitor progress, and communicate deviations
- Provide comprehensive project statuses to audiences at all levels of the organization-project team members, management, and Executives
- Working with Business Analysis resources, help to define and articulate business cases for projects
- Oversee the management of complex project budgets and report budget deviations to the appropriate project stakeholders
- Apply best practices to the project life cycle for projects based on experience using a combination of techniques and methodologies that are rooted in the PMP
- Manages scope and minimize exposure and risk across all enterprise projects

Required Qualifications:
|
- 4-year Degree in Business, Technology, MIS or related areas of study or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years project management - cross departmental projects with a high number of interdependencies
- Hands on implementation experience with complex web-based project management software tools
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Project and MS Office
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills
- Experience working with the development of web systems, data warehouses or relational databases
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and influence others to achieve a common objective
- Customer Oriented–ability to understand the market(customer)requirements of a business objective that may or may not be state by internal personnel
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills(this includes excellent listening skills, concise communication, and targeting the message to specific audiences)
- Ability to effectively lead meetings comprised of users, technical resources, and all levels of management
- Ability to remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas, effectively control project scope, and able to aggressively drive projects to completion with-in budget
- Ability to develop and expert-level knowledge of our business and apply that knowledge to day to day decisions
