SolTech appoints Glenn Kurban VP , Project Services and promotes Thayer Tate
Atlanta, GA. – November 1 , 2009 – .SolTech, an Atlanta-based developer of custom software solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenn Kurban to Vice President of Project Services, and the promotion of Thayer Tate to Vice President of Technical Services.
Glenn has fifteen years of experience in the Information Technology, Management Consulting and Operations disciplines. His background includes custom and packaged software development consulting, database development and management, and project management for many web and desktop application development projects. For the past five years, Glenn has specialized in the build-out and optimization of Project Management Offices (PMO) that focus on increasing efficiency, communication and consistency across the enterprise. He has most recently served as Senior Director of Implementation for a multi-billion dollar, Atlanta based, financial services and transaction processing company.
Thayer has been instrumental in the success of SolTech’s project-based business during the past 4 years. During this time, he has led numerous custom software development projects, and has refined the SolTech development process to deliver projects faster and increase overall client satisfaction. His experience and skills allow him to understand our clients’ business at a detail level and develop solutions that are right on target. In his new position, he will work closely with the sales team to identify new opportunities and to create winning solutions for our clients.
